Makefield Highlands

This little valley is behind my house, but I have a tree line blocking my view. I've tried to cut out some of the underbrush to open up the view from my house, but it's mostly brambles with thorns, and as soon as spring comes it grows right back. Last year my mother brought my dad's truck up, and we must have hauled five loads of brambles to the township landfill. (I think dad's truck has a few scratches to show for it.) As soon as the warm weather hit, you couldn't tell we had done anything. I think nature is winning out on this one.

I really like this one - the stillness if it and the muted colors - was it dusk or morning?

above...that was supposed to be "the stillness of" not "if"....
