Harvest Festival

I wanted to take part in Yardley Harvest Day, since it draws thousands from our area, and I thought it would be a great opportunity to get some marketing material out. To take part, though, you have to sell a hand-made craft/art. So I put together a landscape series of local Yardley sites, and sold framed pieces of various sizes, notecards and magnets. I had my postcards sitting out all over the place, and had a drawing for a free session and 11x14, which allowed me to get new names for my mailing list. Although it was alot of work, I think it went very well, and should lead to new contacts. I sold more than I thought I would, and even sold out of some things and took orders. I'm not sure I want to do this on a regular basis, though. With Jim out-of-town, I am so thankful Brooke came and spent the day helping me. I couldn't have gotten through it without her. Thanks again, Brooke!
